Dr. Jay Goyal is an experienced ophthalmologist and Director of Surya Eye, with over 17 years of experience in advanced eye care. He specialises in robotic cataract surgery (FLACS), bladeless LASIK, Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICL), PRELEX and retina care. He has performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries and 4,000 refractive procedures.
He completed his MBBS from MUHS, Nashik, and DOMS in Ophthalmology from D Y Patil University, Pune. He subsequently pursued a Fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology (FICO) at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. His additional training includes observerships at Singapore National Eye Centre and Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru.
Dr. Goyal combines advanced surgical techniques with personalised treatment planning to address individual eye conditions and visual requirements. His approach focuses on detailed evaluations, appropriate treatment selection and comprehensive patient care.
Beyond clinical practice, he has trained numerous ophthalmologists from around the world in cataract, LASIK and other eye surgeries. He also actively participates in national and international ophthalmology conferences to stay updated with advances in eye care.
